Get a Board not Bored this March Break!

The City of Greater Sudbury is offering a number of activities for a fun and active March Break.

Swimming, skiing, skating as well as the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre Day Camp for kids are all open so you and your family can enjoy local activities every day throughout the March Break.

Swimming
Take the plunge this March Break with free public swimming, compliments of your local Tim Hortons and the City of Greater Sudbury. Free public swimming sessions will be offered at Dow Pool, the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre and Nickel District pool between March 10 and March 16.

Children under the age of seven, or children who do not pass the facility swim test, must be accompanied by an adult in the pool.

Please note that there is a limited capacity at each swim session. For a complete schedule, visit the Tim Hortons nearest to you.

Skiing and Snowboarding
Greater Sudbury Ski Hills will offer extended hours during March Break, weather and ski hill conditions permitting.
 
Outdoor Skating
Enjoy free outdoor skating at the Ramsey Lake Skating Path, Queen's Athletic Skating Oval and neighbourhood association outdoor rinks.

Public Skating
Enjoy free public skating this March Break. Free skating schedules are pre-empted for special events. Please visit www.greatersudbury.ca/marchbreak for arenas and times.

Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre March Break Camp
The City of Greater Sudbury is accepting registrations for the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre March Break Day Camp for children ages 5 to 12.  The camp will run from March 10 to 14, from 8 a.m.  to 5 p.m. daily.  The registration fee is $25.75 per day.  Activities will include swimming, crafts, a treasure hunt and outdoor activities.
