Celebrate Canada Water Week with a tour of Greater Sudbury Wastewater Treatment Plant.

City of Greater Sudbury Water/Wastewater Services and EarthCare Sudbury are hosting tours to mark the 2014 International Water Day on March 22 and Canada Water Week, March 17 to 23. Visit a Wastewater Treatment Plant and find out where our water goes!

School group tours are available and offered in both English and French on Tuesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 20. Due to limited space, schools should book early by emailing, earthCare@greatersudbury.ca

Chelmsford Wastewater Treatment Plant
Coniston Wastewater Treatment Plant
Dowling Wastewater Treatment Plant
Sudbury Wastewater Treatment Plant
Levack Wastewater Treatment Plant
Lively Wastewater Treatment Plant
Valley East Wastewater Treatment Plant
Walden Wastewater Treatment Plant
 

Tours will be available to the public on Saturday, March 22 on International Water Day. Citizens are invited to register by email at earthcare@greatersudbury.ca for a tour of the Chelmsford Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 265 Laurette St., Chelmsford. Tours will be offered in both English and French on a first come, first serve basis from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
