2013 Municipal Performance Benchmarking Report Released

The Ontario Municipal Chief Administrative Officers' Benchmarking Initiative (OMBI) has released its annual comparative report of services delivered by 14 municipalities. The 2013 Performance Benchmarking Report is available on the City of Greater Sudbury website at www.greatersudbury.ca/ombi.

The report compares data within 36 municipal service areas, including roads, public transit, policing, long-term care, libraries, water and wastewater systems, solid waste management, child care and social assistance. Year-over-year results provide city administrators, elected representatives and citizens with a valuable tool for measuring performance.

Findings from the report will be further explored during the 2015 Municipal Budget process.
