Step 2: File Your Notice of Registration

Registration of third party advertisers for the Municipal and School Board Elections opens Friday, May 1, 2026.

Registration as a third party advertiser for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections can be filed anytime between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the One-Stop Services counter located in the Tom Davies Square foyer from Friday, May 1, 2026 until Friday, October 23, 2026.

Those who meet the prescribed requirements, as set out in the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, and wish to register as a third party must first file a Notice of Registration with the Clerk of the City of Greater Sudbury. The Notice of Registration includes the required declaration of qualification signed by the third party.
