Due to high temperatures and dry conditions, the City of Greater Sudbury has declared an open-air fire ban, effective immediately as of July 14, 2026.

Good news for Walden residents: the Walden Small Vehicle Transfer Station will reopen with all regular services available on Wednesday, July 15.
