AEDs Coming to GOVA Transit Buses

GOVA Transit is enhancing public safety by installing automated external defibrillators (AEDs) on all conventional and specialized transit buses.

By the end of October, riders will have access to a ZOLL AED 3® on every GOVA Transit bus. The devices are designed to assist during a cardiac emergency and provide clear audio and visual instructions to guide users through each step, regardless of prior training.

AEDs will be easy to identify. Look for an "AED On Board" decal on the outside of the bus and a bright red AED case located at the front of the vehicle.

This initiative expands access to lifesaving equipment throughout the community and builds on the City's existing network of AEDs in municipal facilities.
