4-Week Freestyle Ski Lessons – Introduction to Park:
These lessons are intended for skiers wanting to be introduced to park in a safe and supportive environment. Following current CSIA freestyle development principles, participants will learn the fundamentals of freestyle skiing, including switch skiing, basic airs, grabs, and introduction to spins. Each session builds progressively to help skiers gain confidence while developing strong park fundamentals. By the end of the program, the goal is for participants to have confidence and skills to safely link features together into their own freestyle run.
Freestyle Snowboard Lessons – Introduction to Park:
Take your snowboarding to the next level with Freestyle Snowboard Lessons, a four-week freestyle development program designed to introduce riders to the exciting world of terrain park snowboarding. Participants will progress from foundational skills such as switch riding, butters, and flatland tricks to straight airs, grabs, rail features, and introductory spins. Lessons are structured to develop strong fundamentals before advancing to more challenging freestyle maneuvers. Riders will gain a better understanding of timing, coordination, feature selection, and park etiquette while building confidence in a supportive group environment.
Program Details:
- Participants must possess intermediate to advanced skiing or snowboarding skills who can confidently ride a variety of terrain and snow conditions.
- Priority lift access during lessons when accompanied by an instructor
- Expert Instruction from experienced park certified instructors focused on technique, safety, and progression.
- Program includes four (4) two-hour group lessons.
- Minimum of four participants required per group

The French interface of our new registration system is still under development, however it is important that the City goes live with the new system as the existing registration and facility booking system is no longer supported by the vendor. Residents can still receive this service in French by calling 311 to have a French-speaking operator process bookings or registrations. The French interface will be launched in time for the fall/winter registration period.
