Subsidy, Discounts, Payment Plan Options

Subsidy, Discounts, Payment Plan Options

This section outlines the financial support available to families when registering for camp programs. Here, you’ll find details about eligible discounts, how and when they can be applied, the available payment plan option and important guidelines around subsidy use. Please review this information carefully so you can plan your registration with confidence and make the most of the options that best fit your family’s needs.

  • You cannot stack subsidy and discounts
  • You are limited to using the discounts at one registration time; if you wish to register for a program at a later date, you cannot utilize the discounts.

Tax Receipts

Day camp fees are generally eligible for child care expense deductions (line 21400) or the Ontario Child Care Tax Credit if the primary purpose is child supervision for children under 16. Receipts should show the child's name, amount paid, and service dates. Access your tax receipt online via Xplor Recreation Client Portal.

Subsidy

* Please note families cannot stack discount options. Families receiving subsidy would not be eligible for discount options.

Payment Plan Option

Families to pay 50 per cent at registration and the balance before the start of the registered session, reducing up-front financial pressures for low- to moderate-income families.

Discounts

  • A 20 per cent discount for families registering multiple children (applied to the third and any subsequent child)
  • A 20 per cent discount for families registering for multiple sessions in the summer (discounts applied to families registering for more than three sessions)
