COVID Update:

No lifeguard supervision will take place at municipal beaches. 

Washroom facilities at the following waterfront areas will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, beginning Friday, June 26:
•    Bell Park Main Beach
•    Capreol Public Beach (portable washrooms)
•    Kalmo Beach
•    Meatbird Lake Park
•    Moonlight Beach
•    Nepawhin Lake Park
•    Whitewater Lake Park 

Washrooms will be maintained by Parks Services staff, in line with the Cleaning and Disinfection for Public Settings guidelines set out by Public Health Ontario. Spring Phosphorus Results

The 2018 spring phosphorus value for Minnow Lake is 24.9 µg/L. The average total spring phosphorus for Minnow Lake since 2001 is 37.55 µg/L which well exceeds the Provincial Water Quality Objectives and indicates that this lake is eutrophic.

Minnow Lake has 105 permanent residents, but no seasonal/recreational residents.

Minnow Lake is located in McKim township. Minnow Lake has an area of 20.9 hectares and has a shoreline perimeter of 2.1 kilometres. The maximum depth of the lake is 3 metres. View maps of Minnow Lake.
