Toe Blake Memorial Arena
COVID-19 Update – February 25, 2021
Beginning February 19, most community arenas are reopening with safety guidelines and protocols in place. Public skating will resume February 20. Online registration is available at www.greatersudbury.ca/play/arenas/public-skating. Because of a mechanical issue at TM Davies Arena, that location will reopen for public skating on February 28.
As a reminder, a number of City facilities have been identified as locations for vaccination clinics, including some community arenas. As a result, Carmichael and Dr. Edgar Leclair are no longer available for public use at this time. Staff has worked directly with user groups on a process to reallocate ice at other facilities.

The French interface of our new registration system is still under development, however it is important that the City goes live with the new system as the existing registration and facility booking system is no longer supported by the vendor. Residents can still receive this service in French by calling 311 to have a French-speaking operator process bookings or registrations. The French interface will be launched in time for the fall/winter registration period.
