Road, Water and Wastewater Improvements
Dear Resident,
The City of Greater Sudbury is providing an update on construction work for Anderson Drive, between Meagan Duhamel Drive and Third Avenue.
The City paused this work for the 2024 construction season to allow Hydro One time to plan and complete underground work. During earlier construction between Woodland Avenue and MR24, crews identified that the underground hydro system needed upgrades to meet current standards.
Hydro One work has been completed and the City’s contractor, Belanger Construction will begin work on Anderson Drive.
The 2025 construction season will include restoration work from Meagan Duhamel Drive to Woodland Avenue as well as the continuation of watermain work along Anderson Drive from Woodland Avenue to approximately 50m west of Woodland Avenue.
The remainder of the work along Anderson Drive from Woodland to Third Avenues will take place during the 2026 construction season.
