Construction Notice - May 7, 2024
Active Transportation Improvements
The City of Greater Sudbury will be completing active transportation improvements on Old Highway 69N (MR80), between Main Street and the mall entrance in Val Caron.
Construction by the City’s contractor, GIP Interpaving Ltd. will begin May and is expected to be completed in September 2024.
Work will typically take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday.

Current Construction Details:
- Three metre wide multi-use path on the west side of Old Highway 69N (MR80) from Main Street to the Val Est Shopping Centre.
Project Highlights:
- Phase One includes the construction of a three (3) metre wide multi-use path on the west side of Highway 69N (MR80) from Main Street to the Val Caron Mall and is expected to be completed in 2023 with subsequent phases completed in future years.
