Sixteen Beds Added to Emergency Shelter System
The Safe Harbour House emergency shelter program, funded by the City and operated by the Elizabeth Fry Society, is opening at its new location at 307 Cedar St. on December 18, 2024. The move will increase shelter bed capacity from 10 to 26 beds, adding 16 beds to our emergency shelter system. A portion of the new beds will be allocated for female and gender diverse youth aged 16 to 24.
