Residential and non-residential roadside waste collection services will be rescheduled. Please do not place garbage, green carts or blue boxes at the roadside, as this may impact road clearing efforts. Alternate pickup dates will be communicated once available. We will provide an update once bulky item collection service has been restored.
Due to the winter storm event, furniture, appliance and electronic collection services are also temporarily suspended. Please do not place these items at the roadside, in laneways or on top of snowbanks, as they may impact snow clearing operations.
New Green Cart requests have also been suspended.
All landfill sites and the Recycling Centre are closed.
Habitat ReStores accepts and sells a wide variety of new and gently used items, including building materials, lumber, cabinets, appliances, hardware, light fixtures, sinks, tools, flooring, doors and windows.
If you have extra building materials or items to donate when renovating, contact the Sudbury ReStore to see if they accept your specific item. If you're interested in pickup, inquire about this too, as it may be offered.
