How does Sudbury Alerts work?

When a notification is issued you will receive a message via voice or text depending on how you requested to receive messaging.

• The notification may ask you to confirm that you have received the message. Doing so should keep you from receiving any repeat messages about that emergency.
• If you do not confirm, the system will continue to attempt to reach you at all of the contact systems (phone numbers or email addresses) that you have registered.

If your contact information changes, it is your responsibility to log in to the portal and update your information.
