A Full Property Search Request is an application for a summary of information relating to Applicable Zoning, Outstanding Work Orders, Occupancy and Location Compliance, a list of building permits associated to the property for all Residential, Industrial, Institutional and Commercial Properties.

Work Orders Search

A Work Orders Search Request is an application for a summary of information relating to Outstanding Work Orders for all Residential, Industrial, Institutional and Commercial Properties.

Zoning Search

A Zoning Search Request is an application under which an applicant can make request for a summary of information relating to the applicable Zoning of the Property for all Residential, Industrial, Institutional and Commercial Properties.

  1. Go to opendata.greatersudbury.ca
  2. Search for Active Building Permits
  3. Click the CSV icon
  4. Excel spreadsheet will be downloaded (this typically takes 5-10 seconds)
  5. Click Sort & Filter
  6. Click Custom Sort
  7. Sort By Column F (Street name)
  8. Click Add Level, Then by Column E (Street number)
  9. Click OK
  10. Find address in question – Permits listed include open, issued, cancelled, revoked, and completed permits in our database. If an old permit says “Open”, check the project description as it may indicate an End Date or Completed Date – this means the permit is completed.
