New Bike Park Open in Levack

Residents in Levack now have a new bike park to enjoy. The Mayor of the City of Greater Sudbury, City staff, the local Community Action Network (CAN) and project sponsors gathered today to celebrate its official opening.

The park is located behind the Fourth at Beech Tot Lot Playground on Fourth Avenue. The park features a pump track – a circuit of rollers that lets riders move by "pumping" their body up and down rather than pedaling. The track is also suitable for skateboards, scooters and inline skates.

In March 2024, residents completed a survey, sharing feedback on the bike park’s potential design. The community-led project was spearheaded by the Levack CAN with support from the City and local sponsors. Thank you to the partners who helped bring this project to life:
