Give Us Your Feedback and the Water/Wastewater Master Plan

The City of Greater Sudbury is updating its Water and Wastewater Master Plan, a long-term planning document that helps guide infrastructure investment, support forecasted growth and ensure safe, reliable water and wastewater services in all communities.

The study is following the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process and is currently in phases 1 and 2, which focus on identifying system needs, reviewing existing conditions and assessing potential solutions.

Residents are invited to share comments and questions about the master plan update on Over to You, the City’s online engagement platform, at overtoyou.greatersudbury.ca.

Input will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on January 15, 2026.
Feedback will help the project team refine service alternatives and develop a preferred long-term strategy that will be presented at a future Public Information Centre. The final Master Plan will be posted online for public review once complete.
