Easter Weekend Municipal Service Schedule 2025

The following is the municipal service schedule for the Easter weekend from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21, 2025:
• Greater Sudbury Public Library branches (including Citizen Service Centres), and the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter are closed on Friday and Monday.
• Tom Davies Square is closed on Friday and Monday.
• Greater Sudbury pools, youth centres and fitness facilities are closed on Friday and Monday. Operating hours for Saturday and Sunday vary by location. Some facilities may be open on Monday for federal election polls, but recreation programming will not be available.
• Landfills and transfer sites are closed on Friday and Sunday.
• The Recycling Centre is closed on Friday.
• Collection of garbage, Blue Box recycling, Green Cart organics, and leaf and yard trimmings will be changed from Friday to Saturday.
• GOVA Transit will follow holiday routes and schedules on Friday and Sunday. The Saturday transit schedule is unaffected by the holiday weekend. Monday will follow Saturday/Sunday routes and schedules.
