City of Greater Sudbury Fire Services to Conduct Additional Pump Testing

Greater Sudbury Fire Services will be conducting additional fire truck pump testing beginning October 20, 2025 and continuing through October 23, 2025.

Testing will take place daily, from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the former canoe club site on Elizabeth Street at Ramsey Lake.

Residents are advised to avoid the area during this time due to high water flow, noise and the movement of large vehicles. Boaters are also asked to stay clear of the area for their safety.
