Seven municipal beaches are set to open with lifeguard supervision, beginning Saturday, June 14.

Residential tipping fees at all Greater Sudbury landfill and waste transfer sites will be waived from Monday, May 12 to Saturday, May 17, 2025. Greater Sudbury residents can deliver discarded household items to local landfill sites free of charge during this week.
 

With rain expected to continue throughout the kend, Greater Sudbury residents who are experiencing or at risk of flooding on their property are reminded that the City will supply sand and sandbags to those who request them.

Street sweeping operations will begin the week of April 28 in the Ramsey Lake Watershed, high-risk drainage areas and sidewalks in busy pedestrian zones. Sweeping is expected to expand city-wide by mid-May.|
