Deadline for New Youth Advisory Panel Extended

The deadline for youth aged 13 to 18 to submit their applications to join the Youth Advisory Panel has been extended to December 6, 2024, at 4:30 p.m.

The Youth Advisory Panel will play a crucial role in providing insights into municipal initiatives and fostering youth engagement in local governance. Members will gain valuable leadership experience while learning about municipal processes and contributing their unique perspectives.

This panel will consist of 12 members, with one representative from each ward, alongside two City Council members.

Application forms are available:

• By mail: Call 311 to request a form
• In person: Available at your nearest Library/Citizen Service Centre or at the One-Stop Services counter in Tom Davies Square

All applications must be submitted to Clerk’s Services by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, and will be reviewed by the Nomination Committee in the new year.
