City Invites Applications for New Youth Advisory Panel

The City of Greater Sudbury is now accepting applications from youth aged 13 to 18 to join the Youth Advisory Panel. This panel will consist of twelve members, with one representative from each ward, alongside two City Council members.

Supported by the Leisure Services division’s Community Initiatives and Partnerships section, the Youth Advisory Panel will play a crucial role in providing insights into municipal initiatives and fostering youth engagement in local governance. Members will gain valuable leadership experience while learning about municipal processes and contributing their unique perspectives.

Application forms are available:

• By mail: Call 311 to request a form
• In person: Available at your nearest Library/Citizen Service Centre or at the One-Stop Services counter in Tom Davies Square

All applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024, and will be reviewed by the Nomination Committee.

Joining the Youth Advisory Panel is a great opportunity for young residents to actively contribute to their community and offer valuable insights into City programs and services.
