Revised Date: Scheduled Server Migration and Software Upgrade at Greater Sudbury Public Libraries

As part of scheduled server maintenance, library patrons will experience an interruption to online services that use barcodes on April 20, 2022. During this time, the following services will be impacted: 

  • Patron accounts will not be available online or to staff in library branches, and new holds cannot be placed.
  • Patrons who want to use a public computer station will need to stop at the service counter for a temporary pass.
  • Some digital platforms may not be accessible, including but not limited to, the online catalogue, Mango Languages, Cantook Station, CreativeBug, and LinkedIn Learning.

The digital collections on Hoopla and CloudLibrary will remain operational.

Patrons may experience up to six hours of service interruption during each maintenance update.
