Volunteer for the Greater Sudbury Public Library Board of Directors

Community-minded volunteers are invited to submit applications to fill a vacancy on the nine-member Greater Sudbury Public Library Board of Directors.

Major projects for the term of the Board include revision of an operating agreement with the City of Greater Sudbury, identification of strategic priorities and construction of a new central Library (as part of the Junction East project).

Eligible candidates must be at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and a resident of Greater Sudbury. Consideration for appointment includes demographic representation of the City of Greater Sudbury and support for values represented by cultural diversity, equitable access, intellectual freedom, and innovation.
