Dowling Leisure Centre, Water Station Open This Evening

The City of Greater Sudbury has services in place for residents of Dowling, Onaping and surrounding areas who are affected by the ongoing power outage in the area.

The Dowling Leisure Centre (79 Main Street West) is open until 9 p.m. tonight for those who require access to washrooms and water. Showers are not available. COVID-19 screening is in place, and masks or face coverings are required.

Residents can also bring water containers to be filled at the water sampling station at 68 Sturgeon Street in Dowling until 9 p.m

Hydro One has indicated most power is expected to be reinstated this evening, but it may take until 1 a.m. for some areas.
