Trick-or-Swim Vouchers on Sale Now at Pools and Citizen Service Centres

Oct 9, 2019

Trick-or-Swim vouchers, a fun and healthy alternative to candy this Halloween, are on sale now at all municipal pools and at Citizen Service Centres in Capreol, Chelmsford, Dowling, Garson, Lively, Valley East and Tom Davies Square.

This healthy population initiative is a pilot program to create an incentive for affordable family recreation. Limited quantities of Trick-or-Swim vouchers are $10 for a set of ten and are available first come, first served.

Each voucher is valid for one free swim for youth age 15 and under during regularly scheduled public or family swims at municipal pools. Vouchers are redeemable from November 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020 at the following pools:

•             Gatchell Pool, 43 Irving St., Sudbury

•             Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre, 4040 Elmview Dr., Hanmer

•             Nickel District Pool, 1940 Hawthorne St., Sudbury

•             Onaping Pool, 2 Hillside Dr., Onaping

•             R.G. Dow Pool, 38 Veterans Rd., Copper Cliff

Parents and guardians are reminded that children age 10 and under must be accompanied in the pool by an adult age 16 or over.  While every effort is made to accommodate residents attending a public or family swim, municipal pools have a maximum capacity that cannot be exceeded. Residents are advised to call ahead to avoid disappointment.
