Share your Priorities for Greater Sudbury Strategic Plan 2019-2022

Residents are invited to share their priorities for the future of Greater Sudbury over the next several years, as part of City Council’s strategic planning process.

A community consultation for the Greater Sudbury Strategic Plan 2019-2022 gets underway beginning today, Thursday, February 21, 2019. Residents are encouraged to participate in a survey available online at overtoyou.greatersudbury.ca or on paper at Greater Sudbury Public Libraries until end of day on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

Resident feedback will be shared with City Council prior to a strategic planning workshop scheduled for March 22 and 23, 2019. The process will culminate with the publication of a draft strategic plan for further public review in the spring, 2019.

Strategic Planning is used to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, and ensure employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals. It establishes agreement around intended outcomes or results, and can assess and adjust an organization's direction in response to a changing environment.
