Register for City of Greater Sudbury Spring and Summer Leisure Programs

Mar 15, 2019

Registration is open for spring and summer fitness and recreational programs offered through the City of Greater Sudbury. Residents can stay active at any age by choosing from a variety of activities, including yoga, photography, aerobics, taekwondo, swimming, golf, power skating and more.

Neighbourhood Playgrounds and Camp Sudaca offer convenient and affordable day camps close to home for ages 5 to 12. Specialty camps for ages 6 to 12 focus on creative arts and sports. Emergency preparedness is the theme of a weeklong Master of Disaster camp for ages 9 to 12.

Healthy activities are available to residents at no charge:

  • Free public skating at municipal arenas until the end of March.
  • One free public swim each week at municipal pools until June.
  • Supervised youth drop-in centres until the end of the school year.
  • Outdoor parks, playgrounds, hiking trails, tennis courts, pickleball courts, splash pads and supervised beaches this summer.

Complete program information is available online at www.greatersudbury.ca/leisure  and at Greater Sudbury Public Libraries.
