Four downtown municipal lots will undergo small parking interruptions beginning May 29

May 24, 2019

Geotechnical and soil conditions testing for alternate sites being considered for The Junction will result in some small impacts to municipal parking lot spaces beginning Wednesday, May 29, 2019, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Four parking spaces in each of the following lots will be occupied by contractors for approximately 10 days:

-    Shaughnessy Street East Lot (beside Sudbury Theatre Centre)
-    Shaughnessy Street West Lot (across from Sudbury Theatre Centre)
-    Minto Street Lot (across from Sudbury Community Arena)
-    Elgin Street/CP Rail Lot

Results of the testing will inform site recommendations for The Junction, and will also assist in future development of these sites.
