Family Day Fun at Greater Sudbury Ski Hills, Pools, Arenas and Rinks

Take part in affordable fun on Family Day, Monday, February 18, 2019. Municipal ski hills, pools, arenas and outdoor rinks will offer reduced rates or free outdoor recreation opportunities during the day.

Ski or snowboard at Adanac and Lively ski hills for a special Family Day price on February 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Family Day Ski/Snowboard Passes at Adanac Ski Hill:

• Junior Half Day: $9.75 or Junior Full Day: $14.50
• Student/Senior Half Day: $11 or Student/Senior Full Day: $15.50
• Adult Half Day: $14.50 or Adult Full Day: $17.50

Family Day Ski/Snowboard Passes at Lively Ski Hill:

• Junior/Senior Full Day: $5.75 or Adult Full Day: $6.75

Skate at your local arena free of charge at the following times:

• Cambrian Arena from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
• Capreol Arena from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. (sponsored by the Capreol Lions Club)
• Carmichael Arena from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
• Centennial Arena from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
• Dr. Edgar Leclair Community Centre from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
• Garson Arena from 3 to 4 p.m.
• Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
• I.J. Coady Memorial Arena from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
• McClelland Arena from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
• Raymond Plourde Arena from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
• Sudbury Community Arena from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (10 a.m. to noon sponsored by Sudbury MP Paul Lefebvre and noon to 1:30 p.m. sponsored by RBC Royal Bank of Canada)
• T.M. Davies Arena from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Swim at your local pool for a special Family Day price of $2.60 per adult, $2.30 per student, child and senior or $6.25 for a family of up to six. Family Day swims are scheduled at the following times:

• Gatchell Pool:  10 a.m. to noon for families
• Onaping Pool: 1:30 to 2:55 p.m. for families and 3 to 4:25 p.m. for everyone
• Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre Pool: 1 to 2:25 p.m. for families and 2:30 to 3:55 p.m. for everyone
• Nickel District Pool: 1 to 2:25 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:55 p.m. for families
• R.G Dow Pool: 2 to 3:55 p.m. for families

Weather permitting, the Ramsey Lake Skate Path, Queen's Athletic Skating Oval and local neighbourhood outdoor rinks are open for outdoor recreation.
