Traffic Update: Lorne Street and Downtown Sudbury

Traffic Update – Lorne Street, Sudbury: A wastewater main repair has closed the westbound curb lane on Lorne St. between Sutherland Ave. and Dean Ave. Work is expected to be complete by the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 20.

The 2018 Santa Claus Parade starts at 5:30 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 17. Greater Sudbury Transit bus stops will be out of service through most of downtown Sudbury between 4:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. Buses travelling to the Transit Centre via Notre Dame Ave. will not serve the following bus stops between Noon and 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 17: 1675 King, 1670 Kathleen, 1655 Leslie, 1051 Ste. Anne, 1045 Rainbow Centre. Passengers are advised to meet buses at the Downtown Transit Centre.
