Should Retail Cannabis Stores Be Allowed in Greater Sudbury? Telephone Survey

Nov 29, 2018

The City of Greater Sudbury is working with Oraclepoll Research Limited to conduct a telephone survey about cannabis retail stores in Greater Sudbury.

The survey will take place from December 1 to 7, 2018. Residents will be randomly selected and contacted via landlines and cell phones. The survey will take from 5 to 7 minutes to complete.

The survey is part of a series of opportunities for residents to provide feedback leading up to the January 22, 2019, deadline when municipalities must choose to opt in or opt out of retail cannabis stores.

Since November 13, 2018, the City has been collecting feedback via their online engagement portal, Over to You. To date, more than 10,000 responses have been received.  Residents have until November 30 to take part in the online survey.

All feedback received from the community, both online and via telephone, will be shared at the December 11, 2018, City Council meeting.
