Ontario Works Benefit Cheques Available for Pickup This Week

Recipients of Ontario Works are asked to pick up their December benefit in person due to the recent Canada Post labour dispute. Clients are reminded that photo identification is required when picking up their cheques.

Benefits paid through direct bank deposit will be processed as usual. Bank statements will be mailed.

Clients who usually receive their cheques by mail may pick up their benefit between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the following dates:

Thursday, November 29, in Provincial Boardroom A, Main Floor, 199 Larch St., Sudbury

Friday, November 30, Provincial Boardroom B, Main Floor, 199 Larch St., Sudbury

Monday, December 3, 9th Floor, 199 Larch St., Sudbury

Cheques for vendors and direct payments to landlords will be distributed by mail.
