Non-Profit Groups Eligible to Apply for Greater Sudbury Transit Grant

Greater Sudbury Transit offers financial support to eligible not-for-profit, charitable and community groups in need of transportation to a single local event or program.

The Greater Sudbury Transit Fare and Transportation Grant provides a one-time grant of up to $500 in adult fares or charter services to transport participants to eligible community events or programs.

Groups may apply online or on paper. Grants are awarded to eligible applicants, first-come, first-served, until the $30,000 program fund is depleted.

Greater Sudbury Transit Fare and Transportation Grant funding is provided through Provincial Gas Tax and is an approved program of Greater Sudbury Council.
