City Council Inauguration Ceremony to be held on December 4

The City of Greater Sudbury’s Mayor and Councillors will be sworn into office on December 4, 2018, during a ceremony at Tom Davies Square. 

The event begins at 7 p.m. and will include Members of Council and their families, dignitaries, and senior City staff. Mayor Brian Bigger will be giving his Inaugural address during the ceremony. The new term of Council officially begins on December 1, and runs until November 30, 2022.

Due to limited seating capacity, attendance at this event is by invitation only, however, the ceremony will also be streamed live at livestream.com/greatersudbury.

The first regular meeting of the new City Council will take place on Tuesday, December 11, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber of Tom Davies Square. Residents are invited to attend. Council and Committee meeting agendas are available at agendasonline.greatersudbury.ca.
