Traffic Update- Queen Street, Kingsway, MR 80

Queen Street, Capreol- The annual Rod and Rails car show will close Queen Street on Sunday, June 17 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Detour signs will be in place.

Lifeguards on Duty at Municipal Beaches Beginning Saturday

Six municipal beaches are set to open with lifeguard supervision, beginning Saturday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Traffic Update- Balsam Street

Balsam Street, Sudbury- Installation of a sanitary sewer force main will reduce traffic to one lane on Balsam Street from 500 metres east and west of the Nickel Street intersection on Tuesday, June 12 to Friday, June 22. Traffic control will be in place.

Traffic Update- Kingsway and Jacob Street

Kingsway, Sudbury- Borehole drilling will close the inside lane on the Kingsway between Barry Downe Road and Falconbridge Road on Monday June 11 until Friday, July 6. Work will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

MR 80, Sudbury- Paving operations will result in lane closures on MR 80 from Turner Avenue to three kilometres north beginning Monday, June 11 to Saturday, June 16 as part of the Maley Drive Extension Project.

Lasalle Boulevard, Sudbury- A private contractor will be closing the middle lane of Lasalle Boulevard at various locations from Notre Dame Avenue to 1400

Traffic Update- Kingsway, and Howey Drive

Kingsway, Sudbury- Paving work will result in intermittent lane closures in the westbound lane on the Kingsway from 200 metres west of Silver Hills Drive to Bancroft Drive on Monday, June 4 until Monday, June 18. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Market Opens This Weekend

The Market will celebrate the start of the 2018 season at 233 Elgin St., next to the CP/VIA Rail station, this Saturday, June 2 at 8 a.m. Back by popular demand, the York Street location will open on Thursday, June 7 at 2 p.m.
