2018 Remembrance Day Municipal Service Schedule

The municipal service schedule for the Remembrance Day holiday is as follows:

• Tom Davies Square is closed on Monday, November 12.
• Citizen Service Centres and Libraries are closed on Sunday, November 11 and Monday, November 12.
• Garbage, recycling and green cart collection are unaffected by this holiday. 
• Landfills and the Recycling Centre are closed on Sunday, November 11.
• Greater Sudbury fitness facilities are closed on Monday, November 12.
• Greater Sudbury pools are closed on Monday, November 12. 
• The Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter is closed to the public on Monday, November 12.
• Greater Sudbury Transit buses will follow Sunday service schedules on November 11, and will provide free transportation to and from the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Sudbury Community Arena. Riders are asked to tell the driver they are attending the ceremony. For transit schedules visit www.greatersudbury.ca/transit or call 705-675-3333.
• Greater Sudbury Transit buses will follow the regular service schedule on Monday, November 12.

Remembrance Day Ceremony:

A Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place at the Sudbury Community Arena on Sunday, November 11 at 10:30 a.m. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Residents are asked to be seated by 10:15 a.m. for the arrival of the parade.
