Water and Traffic Updates- April 13, 2017

Snowdon Avenue, Sudbury- Work on the Snowdon Booster Station will close a portion of the southbound lane from Tuesday, April 18 until Friday, June 30. Traffic will be required to yield to oncoming vehicles. Work will take place between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Lasalle Boulevard, Sudbury- Due to a water meter replacement, the right westbound lane on Lasalle Boulevard will be closed from Tuesday, April 18 until Friday, June 30. Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the work. Work will take place between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Garson Coniston Road, Sudbury- A private contractor will close the southbound lane in front of 655 Garson Coniston Road on Tuesday, April 18 due to cable work on the shoulder of the road. Work will be completed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Webbwood Drive, Sudbury- The east entrance of Webbwood Drive and Lorne Street will be closed on Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19 due to infrastructure improvements on Lorne Street. Motorists can access Webbwood Drive through the west entrance. Work will be completed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

2nd Avenue, Coniston- Due to hydrant water flow testing on 2nd Avenue in Coniston, residents may experience water pressure fluctuations as well as discoloured water and various times during the day on Wednesday, April 19, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.  Residents who notice discoloured water once water pressure is restored are asked to run the cold water tap closest to their water meter for several minutes until water is clear of any sediment from water pipes. In the event of prolonged discoloration or low water pressure, residents are asked to call 3-1-1.
