Update on Parking and Elevator Work at Tom Davies Square and Provincial Tower

The City of Greater Sudbury’s elevator replacement and courtyard redevelopment projects are moving forward and will be required to make some adjustments that may affect the public.

The parking garage will be reducing the number of parking spaces it has available. This City will be moving its fleet vehicles outside of the garage to accommodate as many public parking spaces as possible. This will continue until winter. The City has several parking lots around Tom Davies Square and the Provincial Tower for public parking. Visit our website at www.greatersudbury.ca/parking for more information.

The two elevators in Tom Davies Square will be reduced to one beginning June 19, 2017. Should the remaining elevator require emergency repair, the City will accommodate any resident who cannot manage the stairs by meeting with them on the main floor in the Citizen Service Centre located in the main foyer.

Finally, we would like to remind citizens that accessible entry into Tom Davies Square and the Provincial tower is located at the corner of Paris Street and Brady Street as well as in the underground parking garage.

The City of Greater Sudbury will continue to update the public on changes to the municipal and provincial buildings, and any services that could affect the public, as they occur.

We would like to thank the public for their patience while we continue to improve the way we serve our community.
