This Week at The Market

Aug 31, 2017

York Street Location – Thursday, August 31, from 3 to 7 p.m.

There is something new every week at the York Street Market. Join Dawn Condon and Tracey Gosnay for a yoga demo on the grass. Namastay and enjoy a treat from the ice cream truck and then bring home some dinner grown and made close to home, from the rising selection of farmers and food vendors.

As vendors are setting up between 2 and 3 p.m., we ask that vehicles and shoppers wait until 3 p.m. to visit the Thursday Market.

Elgin Street Location – Saturday, September 2, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This Saturday local farmers will have corn grown right here in the Greater Sudbury area. A fresh crop of Ontario apples are starting to make their way up to the Market, and the last week for blueberries is upon us, but late strawberries are beginning to make an appearance. Don’t forget to bring cash for your Market treats and treasures.

At 11 a.m. the Sudbury Symphony hosts a free concert with Duo 46 that includes violinist Beth Schneider-Gould and guitarist Dr. Matthew Gould. The critically acclaimed duo, featuring two of Sudbury’s best classical musicians, has performed internationally, and will delight Market-goers with their beautiful arrangements. For more information, visit www.duo46.com.

The Market is open rain or shine at both locations. Check our Facebook page @GreaterSudburyMarket for more vendor features each week.
