This Week at The Market: Peaches, Corn and Baby Potatoes, plus Kazaam stilt walkers!

Aug 2, 2017

York Street Location – Thursday, August 3, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.:

The York Street Market will be bursting with the long-anticipated tastes of summer, with fresh local garlic, raspberries and potatoes, as well as Niagara peaches and peaches-and-cream corn! Stop in for an after-work snack—and a well-deserved massage—and get your fresh produce for the weekend. Located across from Bell Park at Paris and York Streets.

Elgin Street Location – Saturday, August 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

This Saturday, local arts group Myths and Mirrors will enliven The Market with their stilt troupe, Kazaam. Come for a rainbow of colourful summer fruits and veggies, with blueberries, cherry tomatoes, yellow plums, rainbow chard and beets now coming into season. Located next to the CP/VIA Rail station.

Remember, not all vendors can accept plastic, so don’t forget to bring cash for all the gifts, treats and treasures available at both Market locations!

The Market is open rain or shine. Check our Facebook page @GreaterSudburyMarket for more vendor features each week.
