Residents Invited to the Transportation Demand Management Plan Public Consultation Session

Aug 31, 2017

The City of Greater Sudbury is developing a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Plan to encourage the use of sustainable travel options. Residents are invited to attend a public consultation session on Wednesday, September 13, anytime between 6 and 8 p.m. in the Second Floor Activity Hall at St. Andrew’s Place, located at 111 Larch St.  Metered street parking is available and free after 6 p.m.

In April 2017, the City hired WSP Canada Group Limited to work with Greater Sudbury staff and residents to create a plan that supports the use of cycling, walking, transit, carpooling and shifting of work arrangements to reduce wear and tear on roads and improve the environment and quality of life for all who live, work and visit Greater Sudbury.

If you are unable to attend the public consultation session, please visit www.greatersudbury.ca/TDM to view the latest updates on the study, session information boards and provide comments online.  Comments will be accepted until Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 4:30 p.m.
