Greater Sudbury Transit Route Changes due to Laurentian University Labour Disruption

Due to a labour disruption at Laurentian University, Greater Sudbury Transit will be making some changes to its routes in that area.

Ramsey Lake Road Transit Users:
Bus stops located on Ramsey Lake Road will continue to operate as usual. Transit bus numbers are: 501, 502 and 503 will continue to Algoma.

Transit users can walk to LOT 15 where a shuttle bus will continuously transport pedestrians throughout the campus.

Shuttle bus pick up will occur at LOT 15. The closest bus stop to walking distance of LOT 15 is across from the Living with Lakes entrance on Ramsey Lake Road.

South Bay Road Transit Users:
Bus stops located on "South Bay Road" will continue to operate as usual. Transit bus number 500 continues on South Bay Rd.

Transit users can walk to LOT 15 where a shuttle bus will continuously transport pedestrians throughout the campus.

Shuttle bus pick up will occur at LOT 15. The closest bus stop to walking distance of LOT 15 is just before the entrance of LOT 15

Coming to Laurentian University Campus
Greater Sudbury Transit users should make their way to Lot 15 from Ramsey Lake Road or South Bay Road and the shuttle will transport them to their desired location on campus.

Leaving Laurentian University Campus
The shuttle will pick up Greater Sudbury Transit users on campus and drop them off at Lot 15. Transit users will walk from Lot 15 to their desired bus stop on Ramsey or South Bay Road.
Special requirements

Should you have special requirements that prevent you from walking to and from Lot 15, please consider making other arrangements or contacting Handi-Transit.

Handi-Transit will operate as usual.  Contact Handi-Transit at 705-670-2300 to make arrangements to use the service.
