Greater Sudbury Fire Services Fall 2017 Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment Drive

The City of Greater Sudbury Fire Services is looking for volunteer firefighters and is undertaking a recruitment drive in the following communities to fill an identified need: Beaver Lake, Dowling, Vermillion Lake, Levack, Val Caron, Falconbridge, Skead and Red Deer Lake.

The application window will be open from October 6, 2017 to October 27, 2017.

Information sessions will be held to assist interested candidates understand the application process and the requirements of the training process and the position:

• October 11 -   7pm at Garson Station for Falconbridge/Skead/Red Deer
• October 14 - 10am at Dowling Station for Levack/Dowling/Vermillion Lake
• October 14  -  1pm at Val Caron Station for Val Caron
• October 18 -   7pm at Whitefish Station for Copper Cliff and Beaver Lake
