Community Consultation for Ramsey Lake Subwatershed Study and Master Plan

The City of Greater Sudbury will continue the third of a series of consultation sessions for the Ramsey Lake subwatershed study. The open house will take place on Wednesday, November 1, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Northern Water Sports Centre, located at 206 Ramsey Lake Rd. 
Our water resources are an important part of our community. From drinking water for our residents and animals, to supporting habitat for our plants and wildlife, and providing great recreation opportunities, protecting our watersheds has been identified as a priority in the City of Greater Sudbury’s Official Plan.

The third consultation session is a mandatory point of contact with the public under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process. It focuses on gaining input and feedback, and presenting an evaluation criteria from the public on the alternative solutions developed for the subwatershed.
