2017 Remembrance Day Municipal Service Schedule

The following is the City of Greater Sudbury municipal service schedule for Remembrance Day:

• Tom Davies Square will be closed on Monday, November 13.
• Citizen Service Centres and Libraries will be closed on Saturday, November 11 and Monday, November 13.
• Garbage, recycling and green cart collection are unaffected by this holiday. Landfills and the Recycling Centre will remain open.
• Greater Sudbury fitness facilities and pools will be closed on Monday, November 13. 
• The Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter will be closed to the public on Monday, November 13.
• Greater Sudbury Transit buses will follow regular schedules and will provide free transportation to and from the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Sudbury Community Arena on Saturday, November 11. Remembrance Day Ceremony

A Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place at the Sudbury Arena on Saturday, November 11 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Residents are asked to be seated by 10:15 a.m. for the arrival of the parade.
