2017 Peter Schneider Concert Series Call for Entertainers
Apr 1, 2017
For more than 16 years, new and seasoned musicians have been delighting crowds with their talents at the Peter Schneider Concert Series. The series runs from May through August with concerts Sunday nights from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. The Peter Schneider Concerts are open to the public and are offered free of charge.
The City of Greater Sudbury Leisure Services Division is seeking local entertainers for the 2017 season. Due to limited space available in the program schedule, priority will be given to entertainers who meet the following objectives:
•Entertainment is appropriate for family audiences
•Entertainment demonstrates collaboration amongst artists and individuals within the same area of performances
•Performances present minimal logistical requirements ensuring that the concerts can remain a free event for the community
•Entertainers are representative of the diversity and culture of the City of Greater Sudbury
Please note: Concerts are held at one of three locations within Bell Park; the William Bell Gazebo, the Katherine Bell Gazebo or the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. The venue selection
is determined by Leisure Services based on a number of criteria including; size of performing group, expected attendance, technical requirements and the availability of locations. Performing groups will receive a small honorarium as compensation.
