Run. Jump. Play. Everyday! Select City of Greater Sudbury Libraries Offering Free Snowshoe Lending Program

Feb 19, 2016

The City of Greater Sudbury in partnership with the Nickel District Conservation Authority, Rainbow Routes and the Healthy Kids Community Challenge now has snowshoes to lend out to the public. The snowshoes are available at six locations of the Greater Sudbury libraries, South End, Garson, Lively, Onaping/Levack, Valley East and the Main Library downtown. Each location has six pairs of youth and four pairs of adult sets available.  All residents are invited to come to a participating library so they can try snowshoeing this winter.

Residents can borrow the snowshoes for one week at a time, and will require a library card to sign them out. If you do not already have a library card, you can sign up for one at the time of checking out the snowshoes. Snowshoes are available on a first come first serve basis; however snowshoes can be reserved in advance of pick-up.
