Residents of Lively Invited to Public Consultation for Sanitary Sewer Upgrade

Mar 4, 2016

Lively and area residents are invited to attend a public consultation on Wednesday, March 9, anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Kinsmen Hall, 15 Kin Drive, to learn about plans to upgrade approximately 1,400 meters of sanitary sewer.

Proposed work will impact residences on or near 3rd Avenue, 9th Avenue, 10th Avenue, Coronation Boulevard, Anderson Drive and Jacob Street in Lively.

Representatives from the City of Greater Sudbury and its consultant, R.V. Anderson Associates Limited, will be present to answer questions about the purpose of the sewer upgrade, issues related to the existing sanitary sewer, the extent of proposed works and next steps.

Detailed design for the project is proceeding through the winter and spring of 2016. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2017.
